Classification: Family Salticidae, Jumping Spiders
Habitat: Foliage in wooded environments.
Female: 9-11mm.
Male: 8-9 mm.
Distribution: Singapore (new record), Indonesia, India.
Legs I and II of the males are armed with thick brushes of bristles.

This species is cited in the toilet seat spider email, which is a hoax originating in 1999.
