For more information, see the NSS webpage.

About the conference - The conference aims to provide a forum for conservation proponents and wildlife experts from all sectors of the community. Our speakers will address the status of Singapore’s biodiversity, and the effects of habitat loss, degradation and fragmentation on a range of flora and fauna, with a focus mainly on nature areas outside the Nature Reserves. They will also address the needs of species that have healthy numbers currently, but are vulnerable to disturbances. Appropriate ideas, plans and solutions that will help prevent or mitigate losses will be explored and analysed - to ultimately save our remaining nature areas and their biodiversity. We invite you to discuss these topics and more with our experts.

The conference aims to highlight and increase the awareness on efforts in biodiversity and forest conservation in Southeast Asia, update participants on the latest developments on biodiversity and forestry conservation, and identify key competencies that could be built up for the region. The target audience of this conference includes representatives from local and international non- government organisations, international organisations, academic institutions, businesses, and relevant public agencies.
