Many organisations are also shifting towards long-term assistance, rebuilding and rehabilitation efforts.

The Habitatnews Tsunami Relief webpage that was setup from 27 Dec 2004 will now point to the NVPC page instead. Thanks to all the volunteers who responded very quickly, donating cash and supplies, sorted, packed and loaded supplies at collection sites, organised collections, ventured out to the region to help, and sent back reports to keep the webpage well updated, even to the hour. And to the bloggers and webpages that helped alert poeple to this information.
