Long-tailed macaques at Yishun Park and Sisters Island
Category : nature
|It's just a few days into the year and blogger Rambling Librarian reports spotting a pair of Long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicularis) at Yishun Park [link] while at Sister's Islands, the Wildfilms crew find their packs raided [link].|
A google search revealed some lovely photos of Long-tailed Macaques at Rifle Range Road (2004/5) by Charlie Moores at Charlie's Bird Blog.
I have bookmarked a few links - check my bookmarks at del.icio.us. I use the tag "Macaca_fascicularis". I will add to those over time and hopefully others do so as well.
If you encounter macaques around Singapore, observe them and blog about it, take photos and flickr them or just email me at
