Launch of new book on Seashores - Private Lives
Category : marine
Right now, Peter Ng is reminiscing about the background to the new seashore book, starting out with the fresh faces of Leo Tan and Shirley Lim on the Labrador shores. As he carries on he promises that the book will reveal the private lives of the seashore life.
The book, "Private Lives" retails at $35.00 (hardcover) and $22.00 (paperback) and the latest guidesheets, "Between the Tides" and "Mangroves: The Submerged Forests" ($5 each) will be launched by the Minister of the Environment and Water Resources (MEWR), Dr. Yaacob Ibrahim in a few minutes... On wisdom of the shores, Peter said, "Once you are aware there are lots of things out there, conservation becomes much easier." Okay, they've unveiled the book and new guidesheets... They've just presented Dr Ibrahim with a museum t-shirt embroided with his name. That's the same dark blue polo shirt that Raffles Museum Toddycats project managers wear.
