Waterspout in southern islands; Sat morning activites
Category : marine
|Raffles Museum Toddycat Liu Jiali sent me this photo yesterday, from their morning low tide sampling trip to Pulau Semakau. They were there to collect specimens for display at the launch this morning.|
This morning, however, the team on Semakau (Toddycats, Blue Water Volunteers, Wild Singapore, Raffles Museum staff, etc.) reported that the rain clouds were blown away and they were enjoying a wonderfully windy morning!
|Meanwhile, over at Kent Ridge Park, Raffles Museum guides and participants of the fully booked Pasir Panjang Heritage Walk braved the morning rain and continued with their discovery of the flora, fauna and history of the Ridge.|
Their stops include a view of the Southern Islands and a discussion about Pulau Semakau!
