Fun-filled day of activities at the Plant Appreciation Day, 21 Nov 2004

Nature Society's Plant Group is organising its inaugural Plants Appreciation Day on Sunday, 21 Nov 2004 to showcase the rich diversity of flora in Singapore. The event will be jointly held with Cedar Primary School and will be held at the school at 15 Cedar Avenue S(349700). Many interesting, fun and educational activities have been lined up, such as talks, workshops on pitcher plants, trees as homes and grasses, treasure hunt, a tree-climbing demo, plant clinic, guided walks, plants sale, exhibitions on various uses of plants, sale of interesting handicrafts and knick-knacks, etc. Do sign up early for the workshops as these are for 30 people each.
