Sun 13 Aug 2006: Pedal Ubin once again!

Category : events

The Raffles Museum volunteer guides of the Pedal Ubin programme lead a relaxing four hour ride suitable for novice cyclists to introduce the heritage and natural history of Pulau Ubin to the 'sua-ku' Singaporean.

Seriously folks, as long as you can balance yourself on a bike, you will survive the ride. We don't ride continuously anyway, as we get off our saddles to take a close look at the island's curiosities (we are curious people, we are).

Registration
If you want to sign up for the public ride on Sunday 13th August 2006, send an email with the following details to .

  1. Name
  2. Email address
  3. Mobile phone number
  4. Cycling ability (Are you wobbly, steady or wow!)
  5. Emergency contact [name, relationship (e.g. mother/father/wife/friend) and phone number]
  6. Date of preferred ride - 13 Aug 2006: 8am (Changi Jetty) - 12pm

Confirmation and Payment
The charge is S$10.50 (inclusive GST) per participant. If you bring your own bicycle, the charge is S$7.35. Payment covers the bumboat ride from Changi to Pulau Ubin (one-way) and whole day bicycle rental. Places are limited by guide availability, so sign up quickly.

You will receive a reply to confirm your participation and instructions about payment. Registered participants will receive an FAQ closer to the event date.

See the Pedal Ubin webpage for more details.
