A catalogue of plants in Singapore has just been published by the National Parks Board. There are six categories: Climbers, Ferns, Shrubs, Cycads, Palms, and Trees. Within each, the different varieties are listed by scientific name in alphabetic order. Common name and a user-friendly set of icons provide information about plant use, characteristics and requirements. All species are illustrated with multiple photographs showing the whole plant plus close-up of leaves, flower and/or fruit.
