Include the following to allow us to prepare transport for
the return journey to campus:
- Your
name,
- Date
of the walk you are joining (20th or 27th
July)

Where
to meet
Please
meet at the Public Gallery of the Raffles Museum at 7am.
This is at the 3rd Floor of the Science Library building,
Science
Drive 2, Block S6, Level 3.
As we begin the 3-hour stroll, huffing up stairs, we get a
practical demonstration of the odd-layout and variable floor
numbers in NUS due to the Ridge!
What
to bring
Wear
suitable clothes and footwear - shorts, t-shirts and running
shoes are fine. Be prepared for rain as always. Pack a litre
of water, a snack, a towel, and a change of t-shirt to
change into. There is a drinking fountain at Kent Ridge Park
and a vending machine somewhere in Science Park and
Reflections at Bukit Chandu. Bring along coins if you intend
to use it.

Point
to note
NParks
has advised us that the accessway from Kent Ridge Park to
Reflections at Bukit Chandu will be closed from August 2002
- February 2003 for some constructions works. During this
time, you will have to use Pepys Road to access RBC. Amongst
the changes to expect at Kent Ridge Park is a canopy walk!
The
time we have to visit the Ridge in NUS, Kent Ridge Park and
Reflections at Bukit Chandu merely provides a fleeting
glimpse of these areas. We hope the walk will encourage a
return trip to these places at our doorstep in NUS, and hope
you will enjoy them to their entirety.
