NSSguides are conducting their second walk for the Nature Society (Singapore) - Lower Peirce boardwalk and reservoir.

If you wish to sign up with the team, you must be able to attend ALL these sessions from 3pm - 7pm:

Sat 19 Jan 2002 - Refresher course & Allocation of stations
Sat 2 Mar 2002 - Dry run with invited group & Debrief
Sat 16 Mar 2002 - Coordination & Actual walk

Hi all,

Benjamin is overseeing a Lower Peirce walk for the Nature Society (Singapore) on Saturday 16 March 2002 to be conducted by the NSSguides team.

He has prepared a preliminary trail outline with about 10 stations on several trails and the reservoir.

We chose Lower Peirce in March because of the following reasons:
1. First course, high attendance, many were studied this site well,
2. There is enough time to re-familiarise,
3. Popularising Lower Peirce helps reduce the crowd at Bukit Timah,

Deadlines

2001
30 Dec: Ben & Siva to confirm stations and content
31 Dec: Deadline for signing up with Lower Peirce team.

2002
Sat 19 Jan 2002: Ben: Refresher Course & allocation of stations.
Sun 20 Jan 2002: Siva: Submit entry to Nature News.
Sun 27 Jan 2002: Team submits their points for webpage/brochure.

12, 13 Feb 2002 - Chinese New Year.
Sun 17 Feb 2002: Finalise webpage/brochure.

Sat 2 Mar 2002: Dry run with a public group.
Sat 16 Mar 2002: NSS walk.
