In Singapore, this species is more common than the Larger Housefly Catcher (Plexippus paykulli).

Classification: Family Salticidae, Jumping Spiders
Habitat: Inside houses.
Female: 7-9 mm.
Male: 6-7 mm.
Distribution: Throughout the tropics.
