Head broad and squarish in dorsal profile, a black bar from nape to upper end of
pectoral fin base, another black bar from first dorsal fin base to behind pectoral fin base, about 6 broad oblique dark bars on sides, a large black blotch on hind part of first dorsal fin. Inhabits mangrove creeks and pools. To 6 cm.
