Eyes on top of head, mouth inferior, pelvic fins largely separate, a membrane (frenum) joining pelvic fin spines, first dorsal fin with blackish spots, gill areas dusky. Amphibious, carnivorous, inhabits muddy seashores, mangrove creeks and canals. To 6.4 cm.
