Eyes on top of head, mouth inferior, pelvic fins united into a disc, one row of teeth in upper jaw, first dorsal with a dark rear margin, body greyish-brown with orange spots. Amphibious, carnivorous, in groups on rocks and sandy shorelines, including reef flats. To 12 cm.
