Snout bulbous, first 3 or 4 pectoral fin rays
free of membrane, greyish with 3 to 4 longitudinal rows of broken dark-brown lines on back and 2 longitudinal rows of deep blue spots on lower side. Benthic, inhabits reef flats. To 10 cm.
