Lower jaw with a pair of long curved
fangs, dorsal fin rays of similar length, head pointed with snout as long as or longer than eye diameter, olive above and greenish-yellow below, 6 large irregular dark blotches along upper side often within a darkish stripe from snout to tail base. Benthic, inhabits seagrass areas and reef flats. To 15 cm.
