Eyes on top of head, a mid-lateral cream stripe on side which extends onto tail fin, about 9 dusky bars on lower side, cheek with fine blue lines. Carnivorous, solitary or in pairs, benthic on sandy bottoms in seagrass areas and reefs. To 23 cm.
