Trunk and tail ridges on dorsal and ventral edges continuous, lateral ridge on trunk
deflects downwards near anal ring but does not join ridge on ventral edge of tail, brood pouch (in males) under tail, brownish in general coloration. Inhabits estuaries and mangrove pools and creeks. To 14 cm.
