Snout and lower jaw without barbels; body, cheeks and gill cover scaled; eyes developed; tail fin separate from dorsal and anal fins; dorsal fin origin above middle of pectoral fin; orange to yellow colour in life. Secretive, inhabits crevices in reefs. To 7 cm.
