Blue-spotted Fantail Ray
Taeniura lymma (Forsskål)
Dasyatidae

Disc oval-shaped with rounded snout, broad skin fold under posterior half of tail, brown above with numerous bright blue spots. Often solitary on reefs. To 30 cm disc width. With venomous spine, often used for human consumption, popular aquarium fish.
