Launch of Get Close to Nature project
1st August - Nature Day 2003 will mark the launch of NSS' "Get Close to Nature" posters which will brighten 51 MRT stations operated by SMRT Corporation Ltd. Made in conjunction with HSBC, the stations will bear the posters featuring nature spots in Singapore for a year. In conjunction with the launch, the Nature Society together with HSBC, will be organizing a series of guided nature walks for the public over the Nature Day weekend to nature spots identified in the posters: Singapore Botanic Gardens, the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve and the Lower Peirce Boardwalk.
